Introduction
TCEP·HCL, also known as tris (2-carbonylethyl) phosphate hydrochloride, is a thiol-free and odorless strong reducing agent. It is widely used for disulfide bond reduction in various polypeptides and proteins. It is easily soluble in water and can be stored stably in alkaline and acidic solutions. It can also be used as a chelating agent for many metal ions.
