Buffered Sodium Chloride Peptone Solution [MB-B1335]
Solution used for the dilution of samples in the analysis of non-sterile products for microbial contaminants.
* Equally use with KP (MB-B1335P).
* This product is identical to the Korean Pharmacopoeia standards .
PROCEDURE
Suspend 16.1 G of powder in 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Heat to boiling until completely dissolved. If necessary, add 1 - 10 mL Tween 20 supplement (MB-T1889) or Tween 80 supplement (MB-T1861). Sterilize by autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 45 - 50°C in water bath. Mix well. Pour into tubes.
STORE
The powder is very hygroscopic. Store the powder at room temperature, in a dry environment, in its original container tightly closed and use it before the expiry date on the label or until signs of deterioration or contamination are evident. Store prepared medium at 2 - 8 ° C.
