TOS-MUP Agar [MB-T0892]
Selective enrichment medium used for the detection and isolation of Bifidobacterium spp.
* Equally use with QIA (MB-T0892Q)
* It is the same as the existing Livestock Product Code ( current Food Code ) standard .
PROCEDURE
Suspend 62.5 G of powder in 990 ml of distilled or deionized water. Heat to boiling until completely dissolved. Sterilize by autoclave at 115 ° C for 15 minutes. Cool to below 45-50 ° C in water bath. Aseptically add 2 vials of MUP supplement (MB-M3006) or add more supplement as you need. Mix well. Pour into petri dishes.
STORE
The powder is very hygroscopic. Store the powder at room temperature, in a dry environment, in its original container tightly closed and use it before the expiry date on the label or until signs of deterioration or contamination are evident. Store prepared medium at 2-8 ° C.
