Lactobacillius Agar Modified [MB-L0620]
A medium for the cultivation and maintenance of Lactobacillus species.
PROCEDURE
Suspend 50.76 G in 900 mL of distilled water and heat gently to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121 °C for 15 minutes. Cool to 45-50°C. Aseptically add 100.0 mL of filter-sterilized ethanol and 2 vials of Lactobacillus Agar, Modified supplement (MB-L0723). Dispense into final containers.
STORE
The powder is very hygroscopic. Store the powder at room temperature, in a dry environment, in its original container tightly closed and use it before the expiry date on the label or until signs of deterioration or contamination are evident. Store prepared medium at 2 - 8°C.
