Product Description
Amphotericin B is a polyene antifungal agent produced by Streptomyces nodosus. It inhibits fungal growth by increasing the permeability of fungal cell membranes. It is primarily used to prevent contamination of cell cultures with yeasts and fungi. This product is a 2.5 mg/mL solution of Amphotericin B. The solvent is DMSO, and it can be used directly by dilution with culture medium. The commonly used working concentration is 0.25-2.5 μg/mL.
