1. Principle
   FSTest Chlorothalonil Test Kit is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay, which has a window for the process observation and result reading. The T (test) and a C (control) zone on the testing window are invisible before running the assay. After the treated sample is dropped into the sample hole, the liquid will flow through the surface of test trip laterally and react with the pre-coated recombinant antigens. The intensity of color on the T test line has opposite correspondence with the Chlorothalonil concentration in the sample. Meanwhile, the C line is expected to become visible always if sample is applied, which acts as an indicator of valid results. In the way described, the presence of Chlorothalonil in the sample can be determined.

6. Sample preparation
   • Cut the sample into small pieces (about 0.5 cm×0.5 cm). 
     
   • Weigh 1 g of sample into a sampling bottle, mix with 10 mL extracting solution. Vortex or shake over for 1 min and stand for 1 min. If the supernatant is not clear, take 1 mL of liquid andcentrifuge at 4000 rpm for 3 mins
     
   • Pipette X μL of supernatant into a 2 mL centrifuge tube, addYμL of diluent solution, swirl and shake to mix.
     
     
7. Procedure & Steps
   
   • Before use, ensure the cassette is between 20 to 40°C, and put it on a flat surface. 
     
   • Pipette 100 μL of sample solution into the sample hole of the cassette. 
     
   • Interpret the results after 5-8 min. Results are invalid after 8min.
