INTRODUCTION
Protein Phosphatase 1F (PPM1F) is a part of the PP2C family of Ser/Thr protein phosphatases whose members are known to be negative regulators of cell stress response pathways. PPM1F interacts with Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factors (PIX), and as a result blocks the effects of p21-activated kinase 1 (PAK), a protein kinase mediating biological effects downstream of Rho GTPases. Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II gamma (CAMK2G/CAMK-II) is one of the substrates of PPM1F. PPM1F is found to be an apoptosis Promoter.

IMMUNOGEN
Anti-human PPM1F mAb, clone PAT6D11AT, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human PPM1F protein 1-454 amino acids purified from E. coli.

IG SUBCLASS
Mouse IgG1 heavy chain and k light chain.

PURIFICATION METHOD
PPM1F antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-A affinity chromatography.

FORMULATION
1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, 10% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide.

STORAGE PROCEDURES
For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. 
Prevent freeze thaw cycles.

STABILITY / SHELF LIFE
12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C.

APPLICATIONS
The antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1000.
