INTRODUCTION
Fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase isozyme 2 (FBP2) is a part of the FBPase class 1 family. FBP2 is a gluconeogenesis regulatory enzyme Which catalyzes the hydrolysis of fructose 1,6-bisphosphate to fructose 6-phosphate and inorganic phosphate.

IMMUNOGEN
Anti-human FBP2 mAb is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human CMBL 1-339 amino acids purified from E. coli.

Mouse IgG1 heavy chain and ? light chain.

PURIFICATION METHOD
FBP2 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.

STORAGE PROCEDURES
For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. 
Prevent freeze thaw cycles.

STABILITY / SHELF LIFE
12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C.

APPLICATIONS
FBP2 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:500 ~ 1:5000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1000.
