INTRODUCTION
Human KIAA0513 is vastly expressed in the brain cortex, cerebellum, hippocampus, amygdala, pons and putamen. While the expression of KIAA0513 is high in neurons, KIAA0513 is also found in glial cells. In schizophrenic patients, higher levels are detected in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex as compared to control patients.
DESCRIPTION
KIAA0513 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 424 amino acids (1-401 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 47.9kDa.
KIAA0513 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

FORMULATION
KIAA0513 protein solution (0.25mg/ml) in Phosphate buffer saline (pH 7.4) and 10% glycerol.
STABILITY
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
PURITY
Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
