INTRODUCTION
GOT2 is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which is found in cytoplasmic and inner-membrane mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2. GOT2 participates in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. Both enzymes are homodimeric and demonstrate close homology.
DESCRIPTION
GOT2 Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 422 amino acids (30-430 aa) and having a molecular mass of 46.8kDa.
GOT2 is fused to a 21 amino acid His tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
