INTRODUCTION
DPY30 is implicated in the methylation of histone H3 at Lys-4, mainly trimethylation. Histone H3 Lys-4 methylation symbolize a specific tag for epigenetic transcriptional activation. DPY30 takes part in histone H3 acetylation. In a teratocarcinoma cell, DPY30 plays a critical role in retinoic acid-induced differentiation along the neural lineage, regulating gene induction and H3 Lys-4 methylation at key developmental loci. DPY30 also plays an indirect or direct part in endosomal transport.
DESCRIPTION
DPY30 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 122 amino acids (1-99 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 13.6 kDa.DPY30 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

FORMULATION
DPY30 protein solution (1mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.2M NaCl, 30% glycerol and 2mM DTT.
STABILITY
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
PURITY
Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
