INTRODUCTION
PCYT2 is a member of the cytidylyltransferase family. PCYT2 is an enzyme which catalyzes the formation of CDP-MEA from CTP and phospho MEA in the Kennedy pathway of phospholipid synthesis. PCYT2 has the strongest expression in the liver, heart, and skeletal muscle.
DESCRIPTION
PCYT2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 409 amino acids (1-389) and having a molecular mass of 45.9kDa.
PCYT2 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
