INTRODUCTION
Acid phosphatase, prostate (ACPP) is a non-specific tyrosine phosphatase, which dephosphorylates a varied number of substrates under acidic conditions (pH 4-6) including alkyl, aryl, and acyl orthophosphate monoesters and phosphorylated proteins. ACPP has lipid phosphatase activity and inactivates lysophosphatidic acid in seminal plasma.

DESCRIPTION
ACPP produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 360 amino acids (33-386 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 41.8kDa (Migrates at 40-57kDa on SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions). 
ACPP is expressed with a 6 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
