Moxidectin is an anthelmintic drug used in animals to treat, control and prevent endo- and ectoparasites including parasitic worms such as heartworms and intestinal worms.
Moxidectin, like other veterinary drugs, can leave residues in animal tissues, including meat, milk, and eggs. If consumed, these residues may have potentially harmful effects on humans, especially if they exceed safe limits.
